Who lives in no 20?!

December 20

Here at number twenty
lives the lovely Miss Wendy

She fits into the street
all this nudity is neat

Even in the snow
she seems to have a glow

All the boys want to score
so leave Isak gifts by her door

She is partial to a mug
and rewards the giver with a big hug

So here you can see
Isak makes them both HAPPY

Sonja invites her friends and lights the fire,
a beautiful fireplace they all admire.

They warm their hands from the ice,
and drink mulled wine, full of spice.

This village has tradition,
it's now almost a superstition.

That one night in December,
for as long as anyone remember...

You must of Vodka take a sip,
then in the icy water take a naked dip.

If you don't do the jump,
the men believe they will never again do the hump...

For it is bad luck,
makes your mind become unstuck...

to not in winter swim,
on a superstitious whim.

House seventeen,
is always sparkling clean.

Uncle Torsten lives here,
with his old reindeer.

All the animals he feeds,
for all the birds he puts out seeds.

People mistake Torsten for someone they know,
someone when they were little came troddig through the snow...

Dancing around the Christmas tree
looking at views of the sea...

Children's laughter echo,
so does the parent's prosecco....

Raise a toast,
to your host!

December 15

Everyone in the harbour,
including Mrs Hubbenback's old barber,

comes to this hotel every year at least once,
for sampling their delicious christmas scones.

People then dance all night long,
till the last early morning song.

People usually get drunk and jolly,
some might need to be taken home in a trolley...

Everyone talks about this event,
no one thinks of how much money they've spent.

Because when it comes to having fun,
nothing beats a night at Hotel Hunnygunn.

A family of five this church converted,
they had found it abandoned and deserted.

To the children the church was scary.
but their daddy was big and hairy.

He could wrestle andy beast!
Then sit down and have a feast!

This little lady knows how to sing,
she once sang for the King!

She's even been seen,
to sing for the Queen!

She's the bearer of light,
and is a mighty pretty sight.

She loves tea sipping,

In no eleven
lives a couple that used to live in no seven.

They've tried being buddhists,
this year they're nudists.

This is truly a great delight,
to other neighbours this naked sight.

December 11

Finn carefully chops wood in the cold,
avoiding flying splinters, he feels quite bold!

Dottie bakes some yummy pebernødder,
daring to wear slippers to warm her poor fødder.

Tea in lidded leaf cups will help them feel hot,
as nakedness in Winter most certainly does not.

Snuggling under a penguin blanket in fleece,
the svenska pair giggle with ease.

Each raising a beautifully designed cup,
'Happy Christmas skattemus, bottoms up!'

No 10 is full of small flats
with lots of people, wearing hats.

The many people in no 10 are jolly,
there's Saga with her dolly,

Filip with his bid,
he lives in 3rd.

Three's Inger,
with her crocked finger.

There's Sven,
with his hen.

There's Tord,
who drives a Ford.

And a land lady with a shady past,
she's got a wonky leg and speaks too fast...

In no 8 lives a man who used to date Mrs Cat,
fancy that! He used to date Mrs Cat!

It was back when they were both young and nimble,
and life's sorrows still fit a thimble.

The romance lasten a whole summer long,
and ended to the first robin's song.

Oskar grew restless, wanted to travel,
Mrs Cat had no desire to antyhing unravel.

Oskar found himself another bird,
and when he got to about the third,

He send Mrs Cat a letter,
really didn't want to upset her...

28 years later, tired of adventure
suffering slightly of dementia...

Oskar bought a house that was red,
much prettier than that Thailand shed...

He thought he'd maybe miss the Thai scenery,
but soon realised that in his big house he could grow some greenery...

Who lives in house no 7? What's her story?

It’s Mrs. Rosie Cheeks with her daughter
their home is full of joy and laughter
They have a tiny cat
who loves every mouse and rat
Rosie will give her daughter a butterfly dress
it’s so pretty it will make an impress
when her dad comes from the sea
and they will sit together and drink lots of tea.

By Johki

Young Miss Glitter was the best babysitter a kid could ever have.
She sang, she played, she listened well.
Everyone gave her raves.

Now that she’s a neighbor lady, a veteran, not a rookie.
She hosts tea parties and dress-up days,
And always has a cookie.

When kids and cats come round her door she greets them with a smile,
And when they feel unloved at home,
They’re safe with her awhile.

She coos and clucks and makes them proud,
There’s no one just like them.
And when they hear their mothers call they float home on a cloud.

By Next door Laura

there once was a lady named Signild, and a beautiful house she did build, with her
crazy green cat,all day she made hats, for her very shy little girl Audhild.
Now Signild was searching her hardest, for the right gift to fix sweet Audhilds
shyness,so the ISAK butterfly dress she gave, which made Audhilds behaviour magically
change, and now she proudly yells 'call me your Highness!"

A young lad he was,
the kind that don't give no toss.

He wanted some totty,
a real little hotty!

So he answered an ad,
he thought "I must be mad!"

He found his dream date,
one that him liked to skate!

Liv Hubbenback was her name,
but all that is the same...

for when he saw her...

His heart made a jump
and she thought "Him I'd really like to thump!"

Sven Fänkål was lazy,
not to mention a little bit crazy...

Although one good quality he had,
in that he never got sad.

Things could go wrong all day long,
all Sven would do was burst into song!

He had lived in this house all his life.
First with his mother and now with his wife.

Fru Hubbenback bought a house in the harbour,
it was just after she divorced that barber.

It was all she could afford at the time,
she was just glad to get rid of that slime...

Instead of her usual hobby of skating,
she was now internet dating.

Looking for a well fit young boy,
that she could use as her toy...

and a really rich man that would look after,
for Mrs Hubbenback was not a grafter.

Her settlement was poor,
and to further rub salt in the sore...

It was rumoured that the barber,
had moved in with a chick in the very same harbour...
He was now rich and jolly,
owned a big house with its very own folly!

No one lives in this house,
but for a quiet forest mouse.
He is nice and fat,
and sleeps in a comfy bed from an old hat.

He eats cheese from the larder,
every day it gets harder and harder...
As the cheese grows older,
the nights grow colder...

His wish is to find another mouse,
to move in and to share his house.
Someone during frosty nights to cuddle,
so he won't in the hat alone have to huddle...

The box has been designed to encourage you to use it as well as the cups. Each box is hand made, the inner packaging can be removed and recycled and the product information is all written on the underside so as not to spoil the appearance when it is sitting on your shelf full of little treasures...
