These characters are from our latest feature wallpaper. There is a story in there somewhere... The hungry fox and the stingy badger.

Royal Copenhagen

We are especially fond of Scandinavian ceramics in the ISAK office. Here are some examples by Johanne Gerber and Ellen Malmer for Royal Copenhagen with the ISAK Leaf and Landsby trays and the Fika thief...

Ellie then Eden

We were just sent these images from  a few years back of 4year old Ellie and our original Animal Cup. Now replaced by the Familjen and Harvest Cups as part of the Fika Cups set. It's nice to be reminded of things gone by especially when they link up with something new...

Harvest Tote

The Birchwood serving trays now come in the new 100% cotton, reusable Harvest Totes. Inspired by the office allotment (which desperately needs digging over!). Did I mention that they are free?

Did you know the story about Inger & Olle?

Inger & Olle are ISAK's grandparents. They met as children and walked through the forest to school every day. Sometimes they played, sometimes they held hands, often noisy, sometimes silent. They started falling in love and never stopped tumbling into each others hearts. They built a home and raised a family. Now they are patient with the grandchildren, kind to strangers, cheeky to their grown children and naughty on their own. We adore them and we'd like you to meet them.

Family Tree

The Family is a cornerstone of all of us at ISAK. The All About Baby Book is a great way to record your child's life, but we also need to connect with our parents and grandparents and reach out to our past. The Family Tree poster was designed to look great on any wall, with the added benefit that you can add your family images to the branches of the tree. A Beautiful Happy Way to keep your family close to your thoughts.

Spring clean

The poor alotment... It has seen no love in well over three months, maybe more. Badgers have built nests under our bench. Hedgehogs live in our shed. It all needs a big spring clean... And then some planning and planting and extra love and care. We're going to have more peas this year... and protect them better than last year when they were all eaten by deer.

Some summer photos

We wanted to share some picture with you. It's hard to imagen that this is what it looked like outside the studio in June. We can't wait to start having our lunches outside again!

No Girls

At what age do they change from "No Girls" to "Any Girls"?! New ISAK Bug range in collaboration with three little trees.

Check out the gift box!

Oh Boy are we happy with the Fika cups that finally, finally, are in stock! And the re-usable gift box is perfect! 6 year old Theo said: "Oh, can I have one of those boxes? I'm gonna use it as a pencil case"!
So welcome in to your homes Harvest and Familjen.

Copyright Infringement

We had a very apologetic and sincere e-mail from Netta Marshall this morning. See below. Thanks Netta, We really appreciate it!

> Hey!

> I am dearly sorry and I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me

>
> Is there anything I can do to have this post removed? I'd like to make amends.

> Best,
> Netta

Hello Netta,

Thank you for your email. We accept your apology and we forgive you! We are not removing the post however. Copying is a serious matter that can not be taken lightly. It's a criminal offence. My designs are protected by copyright and by copying it, selling it and writing about it as this is your original design is down right outrageous. I would like to keep the post and also post these e-mails on the blog to act as a deterrent for other copiers. I'm sorry to add to your shame but I think it's important to make a statement here.

I would like you to remove any imagery of mine that you may have on your computer.
Thank you.

Kind regards,
Sandra Isaksson

The Familjen Fabric!

Finally, finally, finally! The familjen fabric has gone to print! After plenty of annoying production problems we're now hoping for a smooth finish. The fabric will be acrylic coated and cut in to table cloth size before it reaches the shelves - but for all of you who have been waiting ( and what a long wait it has been!) we wanted to keep you updated.

Good morning!

The sun is shinging, the daffodils are starting to peep through the soil and even the chives on the window sill are starting to spring to life. The mint is definetely on its way back and I hope the oregano and tyme have survived too.
