Yesterday we had our own little mini photo shoot at our local campsite here in Arundel. A huge thanks to our friends that came and to Alex and Sue for letting us use the site and lighting the fire for us! There will be more pics coming up!

Meet the Thorvaldsen’s

Ingalill is a music teacher, loves swimming and light beer and a bit of heavy metal after dark. Sings in the shower and when baking savory scones. Sailor Rum is the family’s black sheep. Would never harm anyone but has an eye for the ladies. Doens’t eat meat, only eats fish. Sardines being his favorite. Barbro flirts with men on the internet. Pretends to be younger than she is. Axel is a medical student from Hudiksvall. Is afraid of blood and would rather join the circus. Faints from his own nosebleed. Örjan Slightly naive, easily exitable. Extremely positive. Friends with everybody. Is thinking about buying a dog.
Gertrud dyes her hair on Thursdays, plays cards on Fridays and goes for a drive in her brown Vauxhall from 1976 on Sundays. Smells like lemoncakes and coff syrup.

Suzanne and Mike have just opened a fantastic little gallery in beautiful Lerwick in the Shetlands. Another reason to visit there this year. You can also take a look at their Phatsheep range of textiles and Mike's photography at the North Rock Gallery. A multi-talented pair.

Isak top tip veg!

Beetroot & Carrots: Steam for 2 minutes, roast in the oven with olive oil, garlic, lemon and herbs. Mmm... Mackrel: Whack on the bbq with salt and pepper, a squeeze of lime... Mmm.
Dill: Butter and dill on steaming hot new potatoes. Peas: Pop them in a fresh summer salad or in a buttery mash. Mmm

Autumn designs

We're introducing some new designs this autumn at Top Drawer in September, this being one of them. Inspired by our own Isak allotment and its produce we've named it Harvest. We havent yet grown any fish though... but who knows. Maybe next year?
